Theater & the Law: Legally Blonde - Eliminating Gender Bias offers a unique opportunity to earn continuing legal education credit in a fun and entertaining way. Attendees will enjoy a live performance of "Legally Blonde, the Musical" by Leawood Stage Company, followed by a panel discussion on eliminating gender bias in the legal profession. Moderated by Barbara Glesner Fines, the panel will feature distinguished experts discussing strategies and insights for promoting gender equity within legal settings. The event will conclude with a reception, allowing attendees to network and continue the conversation on fostering inclusivity in the law.
Musical Description:
Legally Blonde the Musical
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors, and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
