Ethics and the Holocaust

Wednesday, February 5, 2025 - Webinar

Hitler, the SS and the Nazis were responsible for the Holocaust.  But they were not alone.  They needed lawyers and other professionals to collaborate in their plans.  This presentation will examine the ethical issues confronting lawyers and other professionals and how they resolved or ignored the conflicts to perpetrate the Holocaust.

This course will discuss the following:

-The factors that led lawyers and other professionals to become perpetrators, collaborators, or bystanders during the Holocaust.

-The role ethics played for lawyers and other professionals in the Holocaust.

-Lessons learned from the Holocaust about the importance of ethics in our own lives.
